My h/c/i project is just about finished now, im just working on winding up a few final things, anyway i picked up the ford racing cobra aluminum radiator this weekend and began installing it, however im in a bit of a jam, the instructions say that you need to re-bend the stock rad mounts to accomodate the new, bigger radiator, however i cant really bend the rad supports to fit the new radiator, i'm just wondering if anyone has used this radiator or knows how to bend them so they fit and properly support the radiator, thanks
i have that rad and i don't remember bending anything. I believe it sat nice in the lower supports and actually the upper suports i did bend a little. kinda had to flatten out where the bolt holds the rad and move the 90 degree bend a little closer to the bolt.
