Good purchase. The 7.3 is a great motor. There are other kits other than banks but I haev seen most of them and they seem to be the best quality.

You guys have obvisously never driven big ass lifted truck. Its awesome, especially when it is fast.

The manual fan switch did a lot for me. I have a 180* themostat and a fluidyne and it still went to 220* in 70* weather. I put the fan switch on and no matter how hot it is outside it will stay 180* to 200*.

If you hook the gauge light power wire into the fuse for the instrument panel lights you can get the autometers to dim. Its nice to have because I have the phantoms and when they get too bright I just turn the dimmer knob and its all better. Hope this helps.

I have had both and the shift was about the same but the pro5.0 handle is strait and the tri-ax is bent back and toward the driver. I like the tri-ax because of the handle placement.

BBK makes one that takes the place of the schraider valve. Its nice, I have one installed in my car and I like it.

Thi sonly happens when I first start the car. It runs for about 30 seconds then the check engine light flashes 4 times and shuts off and I have also noticed that the fan kicks on while the light flashing and shuts off a minute later. I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem or knows...

I installed mine about a week ago and I love the way it drives now. One problem though, when it is really cold outside and the car is cold it doesn't want to idle. I have to hold it at about 1000 rpm, but when it warms up it runs beautifully. Thanks R.J.

I got saleens on mine but they are 18's. I have nitto 555 all the way around with 245/40/18 up front which are $160 a piece and 285/35/18 out back and the cost $200 a piece. Which is not to bad but the 18's look sooo good. Take a look http://www.cardomain.com/ride/392427/3

Look for where the hood latch release comes through the firewall. It is in the upper left of the firewall on the drivers side. If you stick your trusty meal coat hanger through there it makes it a whole lot easier to run the wires through.

I made one out of a small sheet of brushed aluminum.It holds 2 gauges. Then I just painted it flat black and it matches the interior perfectly.

DarkProphet, Does that steering column pod block any of the factory gauges.
