On the filters, I stick to Motorcraft. Not only do you have to look at how tightly packed the filter is, but the make sure the holes in the bottom are big enough to allow enough oil through. I rememer awhile back seeing an oil filter eval and Wix was top choice.

If it looks darker, it's because the Mustang has a slight tint from factory. I just had mine done and trying to keep the doors legal, which is 35% here in NC, so the tinter could only put 40% on the doors. It then tested at 35%. I said screw legal on the back and went 20% on the back 3.:D
