    You guys have to remember what year cobra he said... a 94, they only made about 250 rear wheel horse power and with a t5 tranny. His mustang makes about 175 rear wheel horse power, with all of the those mods and a good driver he should be able to stay if not next to atleast a few car lenghts...

    What you need to do is get the 4.2 crankshaft out of an f150 and put that in your 3.8, its the same block just different crank, then get some stronger rods and 8.1 compression pistons and then turbo that mess and you should be pushing about 350 horses, while your at it you should get the heads...

    Need Help

    I know that only Cobra's have the IRS. I would suggest getting Cobra parts instead of getting v6 parts. The only thing that i can think of is the rear suspension, in that case i think that some aftermarket GT parts that are rated for the power that your engine will be making will be just fine...

    Yeah i plan on taking it to this tranny shop that worked on my tranny when the previous owner had it... there suppose to be a really good tranny shop so ill see how that goes. About disengaging it i thought you might have been talking about something else.

    i always have it in overdrive, thats not the problem... a lot of people told me that the exhaust or intake flow might be blocked but i dont think so, as i have checked those.... someone else suggested that the timing might not be advancing, any thoughts on that?
