    I have the same problem - it's kind of embarassing when going through the parking garage at work. To compensate I just push the car harder so the exhaust sound and tires squealing covers it up! :D But seriously let us know if you find a fix for this...

    So far I think I am getting better gas mileage with my V8 than I ever got with my V6 (both verts, both auto, both premium). At peak I averaged 21mpg on the highway with the V6. I have about 80 miles on the car so far and have used a quarter tank of gas. I'm not sure what that amounts to in mpg...
