I took my sun roof out of the 79 and the slides are all rusty (I had to unplug the drain holes). Do the yellow plastic slots come out the hole? I'm thinking I'll try to spray rust reformer in there as best I can. Anyone else tried this?

Yea but the car is brand new and this way I'm still covered under full warranty. The head of my local Ford dealership told me as long as it is Ford or Ford Racing, it is ok with them, If I put anything else on it he'd slap me upside the head.

Did you guys get anything with your new Shelby? In my 09 all I got is the owners manual in the black case, that's it. Isn't there supposed to be a Shelby or SVT certificate? A form that says this is #XXX out of ????. A dash plaque? :shrug:

Thanks. I didn't see anything on those web sites. I did email them, maybe they can help. I'm sure I can just clean up and repaint my tank. Hopefully the sending unit is just stuck.

I have the March pullies and haven't had a problem. I'm sure the steel is heavier and could chip and rust, but cheaper.

You have to be careful. A lot of Ebay sellers try to make their money off of Shipping and Handling. Always look at the cost and be very suspicious if they do not say anything. Unless they say, "exact shipping" I email them.
