its getting re sprayed black with purple flakes. also, i think the front end may be bad, im not sure. id like to get it alligned, but that would be stupid if it had bad front suspension. any way to diagnose what needs replacing specifically?

ok sorry. I'm talking about my 73 convertible. What did you want pictures of? There is no plate or sticker on my doorjambs for the trim code. Although I do have my vin, thats it. My question is if I can find out the detailed info thats normally on the trim plate, such as another place to look.

Well after running the vin thats on the dash pad, I would assume its correct. It comes up with all the info that is correct, convertible, 351c 4v, built in dearborn, etc. However, is there another place where I can find the trim plate?

Quick question. The plate that contains all the optional info such as body color, options, etc, was removed. It should be on the door jam correct? If so, its not there. All I have is the vin, which could be wrong, because the dash pad may have been replaced. Is there a vin on teh chassis...

Really? I would think they have a big aftermarket. I'm attracted to the semi "big block" that the 351w cant offer. I'm not talking serious buildup either, just get a block, possibly bore it out, new pistons, crank, a mild street cam, ported heads, intake and 4bbl carb. worth it?

You say you had serious smoke before...could some oil still be in your exhaust, its just slowly burning off? When I blew a headgasket in my Eclipse, it sent coolant into the exhaust, and took about 2-300 miles to burn off.
