Hey guys, I've been working on this for about a month now, picked it up for 3,000. Since its needs paint, I started with the interior. Stripped it completely, as you can see in the pictures. Then I did everything from scratch with most new parts, and did it the right way. Taking it apart I realized a couple things. This car came from the factory with the 351 4v H.O. Also, it used to be a standard. Now, it sits embarrased as a 302 and automatic. Also, someone had tried to do a semi-restoration, and was retarded. There was about 3 screws total holding in the dash, they freaking RIVITED the floor pans in with no signs of welds, etc. I spent well over a grand, and got the seats recovered, repainted the entire dash, new carpets, new dash pad, fixed all the cob job wiring...and now it looks like this... http://community.webshots.com/album/364066832hEXOmu
Nice, looked pretty clean inside (compared to ours, but it was a Buffalo dso and stayed here for all 32 years!). Got any more "during" pics?

dsmGST91, i have a perfect condition black horn pad for the steering wheel if you're interested, i'd take 20 bucks for it.
Which part does it replace, the whole middle part of the steering wheel or just the little brown insert that you press for the horn?
it's the whole center pad. i'll have to double check and make sure it is the right one but i'm pretty sure it is
