    2.3 vs 5.0?

    Well I did get mine cheap and it is my daily driver because of the mpg. The body is fairly solid and in the process of being fixed, but I do stereo competing so it will never go fast with all my equipment/weight. Most of the time I don't even hear the revs over the 150+ Db.

    alternator swap?

    I have an 87 2.3 and bought a 130 amp alternator with the pigtail wiring. Does anyone have a diagram on how to wire this thing? Here is a pic of what I bought.

    Sounds good to me. I went and bought the 3m disk, I'm gonna give this bodywork thing a try Sun. Is yours still a daily driver? Wondering about how long it takes to do the body one panel at a time? I mean there's no major down time right?

    I know there are oil lines going to the turbo, but as I did a tune up today I looked for a place where these lines might go and I didn't see any. Do I need to do a full-on engine swap or are they there and I just don't see them. I've also read about water lines and again I don't see a place...

    Volvo??

    I found a Volvo 760 at a local junk yard. Is the only thing to use from a Volvo the intercooler. The turbo won't work right? The guy said he wanted $150 for the turbo and intercooler, but if I only need the cooler maybe I can talk him down. Thank you
