    Throwout Bearing

Does anyone know if the Ford Racing HD throwout bearing for 1996-up is that much different or stronger than the stock replacement I can buy from Ford? thx

    1998 Gt Idler Pulley

Belt is tight. I tried the washer idea, same result. However I think the belt centers it, so I think It is going to be ok. Thanks for the reply.

    1998 Gt Idler Pulley

I noticed my idler pulley rocks back and forth some, and has play in it. SO I bought a new one. No Matter how tight I get the bolt, it still has some play. Possible the shaft it sits on that is part of the front cover is worn out? Not sure what to do about it. Any ideas? Thanks. Here's my old...

    Hello Stangnet! Again.

I have worked in GM dealerships for along time and I know some of their 1990-2000 anti theft measures did not work all that well, I was not sure about Ford's. I guess I'm a bit paranoid from past experiences with my 1992 Gt, which was broken into twice. They would have stolen it if not for the...

    Hello Stangnet! Again.

Well before I had a hidden toggle switch under the dash wired inline to the fuel pump relay. So internal I guess.

    Hello Stangnet! Again.

Hello everyone I have not been on here since about 2006 when I sold my 1992 Gt. I just bought a 1998 Gt. I'm happy to have a mustang again. I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to put a kill switch on my 98 since I have to park it outside. I know J Richker did a good write up on the 5.0 Fox...

Why Do Import Guys Give No Respect Towards Mustangs???

I can respect some imports. S2000, 300zx, 350z, gtr skyline, NSX, etc. But a 1998 4 door civic with a fart cannon and a stupid body kit? :nonono: I never had to many problems with import guys tho. Camaro owners were more annoying to me.

    Removing A/c

I did not notice you already said what I did. :nice: I had a 92 GT and put the AC delete kit on and like a genius got rid of all the stuff. Then I had to source a condenser, compressor, and all new hoses. Luckily, I used a used comp, and condenser and they worked and held r12, and I sold it. But...

    S281 And Roush 99-04

Cool. There's a guy at work with a 2001 roush stage 2 automatic and I drove it yesterday. Now, it was hot, and I did have 2 people in car, and ac on full, but it would not even burn the tires in first gear. Did not feel very powerful. Maybe it would be different in good weather with a stick.

    S281 And Roush 99-04

Yes I have thought of the Mach 1, I like the styling of the roush better even if it's slower. The other thing is This potential car would be a daily driver. I guess the 4v kinda worries me as to expensive repairs and durability. IE the police and taxi's all use 4.6 2v so you know it is a...

    S281 And Roush 99-04

I'm kinda leaning in the roush direction. But I don't think I can afford a 2v SC roush. Mayber a stage 1 or 2.
