The 351C 4V should have 4V heads. The 2V engines came with 2V heads and a 2V carb. There will be a "4" or a "2" stamped in the front top corner of the heads (as you look down on them) for easy ID. A 2v headed 351-c would not have come from Ford with a 4V carb.....

The 2v heads on the Clevelands make very good street torque; even if it doesn't have 4 bolt mains 2 bolts are fine for most applications unless you are wanting a severe high winding or race motor. Sounds like a great deal to me especially with the FMX thrown in....

Ditto the shroud. Mine did similar things until I located the proper shroud for thr car. Tracked one down used from a used parts vendor out of Mustang Monthly magazine... don't remember who....

ditto the above, if not, and you are set on replacing anyway go with a 4 row radiator and fan shroud. I did and have had no cooling issues whatsoever in the past 10 years since the install.

Boyd's shop seems to turn out some sharp cars, but if you follow the show at all, he seems to have a hard time keeping employees.... Chip Foose seems to be siphoning off the good ones ;)

Good advice- Remember the 351-c was at the heart of the fastest production Mustang of the era= the 1971 Boss 351 :)

I used a harmonic balancer by Fluidamper on my Mach 1. I'm very pleased with it..... fwiw....

I'd get at least an xtra 1/2 leaf on your rear springs. Maybe even go to a 5 leaf rear. Ditto the subframe connectors....
