    it was originally a 4 cylinder car yes, and from what i gather the guy i bought it from got it from his dad and his dad did a v8 swap on it back in 08....lol they even switched it to a v8 on the title when he got it from his dad, so no 4 banger insurance for me lol.

    got the car for 2500....and it has a block and trans no heads or intake on it though....i am still up in the air on the wheels, myself i love big and little's but thinking about shining them up and trading on something in the 17 inch class.

    been looking for a coupe for a long time now and finally found one that i liked within my price range... 91 with power windows and locks it isn't perfect but it is a great start.

    and contrary to to popular belief centrifugal chargers do make boost below 4k rpms...on that point aswell who races below 4k? what are you guys doing 50 mph rolls in 4th? as soon as you hit the gas in first or second it spins past that 4k mark.

    i think it's rice when the reason ppl put a KB charger on is because they want that WHINE i mean wtf pay 2 grand more then a centri charger and get less power just for that SOUND? RICE

    lol i just wanna get it to the track a couple times and get my 10's NA on a 5 speed then i was gonna throw a 125-150 shot on it anyways...i have known since the day i bought the block that it was gonna break at some point...just hope this isn't it lol.

    yep i know i should have had a better pump but if something got hung in the pump i was screwed either way...i will post pics as i go hopefully all will turn out ok...if not im gonna call woody and maybe get into a dart 347 with about a 80mm+ turbo.

    i drove it about a half mile before i realized what happened so i dunno just yet. but when we pulled the valve covers there was still oil on the rockers and when we pulled the dist there was still oil on the cam gear..gonna check the main bearings this weekend and make sure everything is alright...

    Harmonic Balancer troubles!!!!

    may have to take a socket and grind it down till its very thin and see i you can get it on the bolts that way. i have the allen head bolts on mine and love them.
