I installed a K&N and did the bernspeed tune and now my car no longer slows down when in gear going down hill, it speeds up. Does the tune disable engine braking? does make for smoother shifts though.

Mine does it too but you will get used to it. You just gotta get your timing down or you could just launch in 2nd.

I went to a tune shop, GAS. and i asked how much it would cost to install a roush kit on my GT. He said $1,800. I aked how much for the stage 3, $2,800 installed and i would have to wait 3 weeks. I emaild roush and they will only sell me the stage 2 but the rep said there isnt much diffrence.

Well i tried that but the hood would stick out above the fender pretty bad. mine almost seams like the hood latch isnt adjusted right. But i try messing with those things again.

Ive got an 07 gt and there is hood shake on the drivers side, doesnt take much to latch the hood but when i jiggle it i get like a 1/2 in of play on the drivers side. pasenger side is solid as a rock. i tried ajusting the rubers but that just made it worse.

I can still hear some pops when its all warmed up but nothing like when i try it on a frosty morning.

Well ill warm it up real good and try again, but im pretty sure i have tried it after a long drive. I use Chevron 87. Ill try some 89 and 91 to see if the problem goes away.
