I've seen some nice cars where the intake was powdercoated or painted to match the car color. I think powdercoating might be a better process than paint but more expensive.

IMO black rims with the chrome lip look great on black cars. Therefore either the bullits or the fr500's will look good. I do believe you can only get the bullitts in deep dish style so that would be my choice. :nice:

Have you tried e-bay? that's where I got mine from. IDK who the maker is. They cost $100.00 for the upper & lower. No problem with them except the lower is probably useless cause you can't really see it.

It sounds like one of two things. Either the t-stat is staying closed not allowing the coolant to flow thru the system or the radiator cap is not allowing the system to properly pressurize.

What intake will you be using when you convert to fox style? IMO match the throttle opening to the TB. If the intake is 70mm use 70 if its 75mm use 75. Either way they should make gobs of power. Accufab is probably the best TB on the market.

I had the stock cam retarded 4* on my '89 GT. It was supposed to move the powerband up into the higher rpms. I did this when I changed from 3.55's to 4.10's. Worked well in the SOTP department.

Personally I like the TFS stage 1. I'll be using that with a Tmoss ported Cobra lower.
