    i've noticed the same thing with my standard transmission mustang(2005)--I think that the rev's are kept up automatically, so that if I wanted to put it back into the appropriate gear--the RPM's are there to help speed up again.     i'm pretty sure that the 05 mustang sold in canada comes with an block heater ---look under the front spoiler---you'll see a wire dangling with a power plug ---it maybe taped up to the radiator mount. Not sure about models sold in the US I was curious about this too about a month ago and...

    How many of you are putting bessy away for the winter?

    put mine away on Nov 1st and it wont come out till April 01/06--have only 9k on it and will have owned it for a year by then. The 96 taurus is carrying the load for the winter. Hope the taurus lasts for another couple of years---best car i've driven in the snow--great control and balance...
