+1. This is exactly what I did. The PV eliminator gets rid of the ugly stock PV and makes for a cleaner install.

All 94-04 V6's have vacuum boosters, not hydroboost. The hydroboost systems came in all 96-04 4.6L GT's and Cobras. This may explain why the P/S pump is the same from the V6's to the 5.0's.

The Maximum Motorsports 3-2 Conversion kit is Part #MMBAK-3 I bought MM's 3-2 conversion kit, stock proportioning valve eliminator kit, and Willwood proportioning valve from them when I did my 5-lug/4-wheel disc brake upgrade. These parts made the swap super easy and made for a clean install.

In order to do this, do you have to remove everything from under the car (i.e. brake lines, fuel lines, etc.) or can you paint over that stuff?

I swear I just saw some window molding covers (or something like that) that UPR just came out with. They were their brushed aluminum or whatever they use, and they adhere to the stock black moldings via glue. I think they only come in the polished or brushed finish, but I bet you can take them...
