    New torque converter. 3200 stall to much?????

    I was thinking of a 3200 to 3600 stall. It is a daily driver. During the week i dont drive very far i use it more on the weekends. Right now im leaning towards 3600 stall. Do the 1-2 shifts soften up with a higher stall?

    hey cobrared96gt what stall are you going with on yours? And yours is a 5 speed? Mine's an auto tranny. Im having the tranny built and the torque converter built. And it's definitly is pricey. But if it can help with my et's i dont care if the mpg goes down a bit.

    I dont really care if gas milage will drop a bit. And it is a daily driver but i dont drive far. I would really be driving it on the weekend though. Im just not sure if the stall will help with the launch or in the 1/4 passes. I've heard it can drop anywhere from .3 to .7 of et times.
