As I was driving home last night my wife said, "My foot is getting wet." I stopped the car and sure enough water was coming out from underneath the dash. It would stop leaking out when I turned the A/C off. After further investigation this morning I found that it leaks water under the dash when the blower fan is on whether it is the a/c or not and I cannot figure out where it's coming from. It's just pure water! Not Coolant and not a/c refrigerant. That rules out the possibility that it is the condenser and the heater core so what could it possibly be? I thought that it may be the hose the lets the condensation leak to the outside of the vehicle but where is that hose located, and why would it be coming from the edges of the blower motor housing? Any ideas?

I wouldn't rule out the heater core, even on a low mileage car.

It is most likely that your condensate line is plugged up......this line allows the codensation from your a/c to drain out the the car.....if the line is plugged, it will not drain and fill the air vent/a/c box to fill up with water.....try finding the line from under the car and blow it out with compressed air.....also smell the water....if it smells like anti-freeze.....its your heater core.......good luck......Mark

It is definitley not the heatercore. How difficult is it to get to the condensation line?

I dont know exactly where it would be on a 02.....but it should be under the car, close to the fire wall on the passenger side......if you have a compressor...just blow air right up into the line or you could try sliding a thin wire up the line to unplug it.
