I took off my cats, and put on an offroad x-pipe on my 95 5.0. Now it's a pain trying to pass inspection. O2 eliminators don't apply to a 5.0, so should I get an O2 extension? Does it do only what it says?...extend the wire? I feel like this won't do me any good. My only other option seems like puuting my stock pipe and cats back on.
Im not sure I understand what your trying to do? The 02 eliminators as called are for the newer stang with 4 o2's to trick the last 2 o2's so you dont get a CEL. Im gonna assume you have a CEL and it wont pass because of that? If thats the case (assuming all connections are good) you have one or both o2's bad and need to be replaced. Also, you might get a little more response over in the tech forums, this isnt really whats covered in this section of the forums
