Well I went to a Mustang Show here in Ohio and put my baby on the dyno 80 dollars for 3 pulls. She made 438 lbft torque :D and only 371 HP :nonono: . My power is dropping off at 5000 so I think I need a good tune on the dyno. My mods are SLP catback, BBK O/R Xpipe, 12psi and K&N FIPK. I have the Predator tuner and installed the pulley tune so not sure why the HP was so low  . I appreciate the feedback fellas and fellets.

CUSTOM TUNE ASAP! You should be making a lot more HP than that. The stock Predator Pulley tune leaves A LOT left on the table and is just good enough to get you to a dyno where you can then have a professional tune it correctly. I highly recommend James from RWTD Running With The Devil (www.runninwiththedevil.com) He can email you a tune for your predator that should get you to at least 450RWHP.

you will benefit from a custom tune for your Preditor..some cars seem to do OK with the boxed Preditors tunes but mostly everyone ends up with a custom tune..
getting a custom dynotune from a reputable tuner is always a good option but not one that is available to everyone.. next best is a mail order program from a knowledgeable and expereinced 03 Cobra tuner.

do you know what type of dyno it was.. I know Castrol sponsers a portable Mustang dyno at alot of the race events we go to..it is posible that you are spinning but I know we saw a drop in HP and boost with an O/R pipe on our 03 cobra..when we put the cats back on it gained it back..it is hard to say for sure what could be the problem without any data. did you get a graph

Prolly in the tune, but some dyno are mustang dynos which put a load on the car, which is more realistic than a dyno jet. Your car will put out less on those dynos than a regular dyno jet. I doubt you were spinning, or else they would have corrected that right away, that would be dangerous!! How does the car feel on thetrack or the street?

    Belt slippage is another thing.

That happened to me. I hit 477 rwtq and only 425 rwhp. When I looked at the sheet I could see where it fell flat. Torque peaks earlier too.

I doubt the tires are spinning, not enough torque for that. These things hold 1200 hp cars.

I went to get my custom tune on a Mustang Dyno by ED at ASAP in PA. and made 370HP and 370TQ. Not too bad for the old Mustang Dyno. Dyno jet would prolly read well over 400 for both. The tune was all out of whack and you know my curves drop out a bit at times and the torque is coming in at like 3200rpm, which i feel is a little early so I might have belt slippage b/c i did not get the idlers yet. I like the belt cover for some reason :rlaugh: . The car feels strong thanks for the advie guys.
