Does anyone have a stock '04 GT dyno sheet to compare to the '05? That's the comparison I'd like to see. We know peak HP/TQ is better on '05 but I'm curious how the curves compare.

    Nice dyno comparison.

05 45 more HP & 32 more lb ft, nice! :nice: :nice: :nice:

HP doesn't start rolling off until 6,000 RPM on the '05, vs 5,200 for the '04.

I bet cams will do wonders for the '05 - 3V. Keep in mind the cams are lifted out of the F-150 engine, so they're not designed for high end power. Based on the head flow #'s (link was posted here a couple months ago) the 3V heads should be good past 6,500 RPM.

OK aftermarket companies. Who's going to be the first to offer 3V cams?

OK, so the '05 has a much better top end than the '04 plus more peak power all for slightly more $$$ than ' 04. Why is everyone bashing it? It sounds like a winner to me.

But look at the torque! at 6G its less then 125 ftlbs. i hope that has to do with the TB issue.

The '04 chart doesn't continue to 6K. Does anyone know what the TQ is at 6K on the '04? I'm just trying to compare what we had vs. what we have now.

That graph is extremely skewed. Look at the torque numbers...it only drops from 280 to 210.

no its not...read the right side of the graph for the torque number...left side for hp.

the graph is surprising b/c it looks like HP peaks at 4500rpm then totally dumps after 5k.

I think you're looking at the TQ curve not the HP curve (unless I'm reading it wrong?)

That's why I'd love to see a 4V version of the 4.6 return to the lineup! Very good numbers nonetheless.
