Ok, so far I have endured the poping nose from the front end that the dealer can't fix even though there is a TSB out on it. They just refuse to do it as they say it doesn't fix the problem. I have had my gas tank changed because for the first couple of months I had the car I couldn't put gas in it faster then 1oz per minute. The CD still skips, spits out CD's, cuts off early, rattles, things just falling off the dash and the other places, and on and on and on....

But this morning on the way to work the engine warning light came on. A few seconds after that I noticed the fuel gage go from full, to empty. Of course this made the fuel warning light come on. Well only for a second as it then went off as the fuel gauge head back towards full again. The engine waring light started to go on and off almost in time to the skipping CD that was almost playing. Then all the lights died and came back on. The entire time the car was running fine, no misses or electrical shut off of the engine, you just can't put in into third grear of course, but hey who needs third gear anyways? So my now Christmas tree dash lights are still flashing. The CD is going backwards and forwards at it's own pace. The front end is poping and the car won't go into third gear. I call the dealer and the dealer says this can't be happening. I must be wrong...... WHAT A POS !!!!!!!!

So I call Ford "Customer Care".... 18 mintures later I am still on hold. Ten minutes later after that they call the dealer and the dealer tell them this can't be happening and I should bring the car in on Tuesday as they are to busy today, Ford says "Thank you for calling is there anything else we can do for you????" What a joke...... What a POS !!!!!! Oh did I say that already....

Time to turn this POS back in... I won't live my life at the dealership.... The car has spent over 40 days in the dealership of the 6 months I have owned it. That's about 1/5 th of it's time, not counting my time.

My advice, DON"T BUY A FORD MUSTANG !!! I wish I could say end of story but I smell a lot of hours with my lawyers on the horizon..... Do you self a favor and STAY AWAY FROM FORD !!!!!!!!!

I bought a 6 and took her home in March, have over 6k on her already. My only problem the tank fill, where you have to sometimes turn the nossel upside down.

And an odd rattle from the gearbox, and the stupid electronic throttle causing the car to buck at start up in first gear if I dont give the car a minute or two to warm up first before driving it

    other then that, no problems....

But then again I opted out of the MYCOLOR gizmo... soooooo

Yeah, the 2005 Mustang is such a POS that it placed third behind an Acura and a Toyota in its JD Power Quality survey category.

Take it back to the dealer and demand a new one. They obviously sold you a lemon.

Rational threads discussing any issues relating to the new Mustang platform already exist. We do not need this kind of immature ranting.
