My car is in the shop now getting a new top.

The rear window was starting to come loose from the top. My dealer told me that ford new the adhesive was bad in a batch of tops but didn't know what cars they ended up on.

I guess I was one of the unlucky ones.

I could tell you the build date of my 1970 mach thanks to the Marti report.

The dealer can tell you the build date by printing out an OASIS report.
When I took my car in to have the Shaker 500 checked out the service advisior printed out a form and handed it to me that showed the car's build date, delivery date and warrenty information.

The build date is printed on the driver side door sticker.

That is actually the date when the car is pulled for production. The actual build date is usually a week later.
