06 18" GT wheel polishing

this should be easy. can someone help me out with some info? i have an 06 GT with the 5 spoke rims. the window sticker says polished aluminum wheel under the options category. my question is what to use to clean and/or polish them. they have been shiny but are starting to get hazy looking. are they clearcoated? i have had chrome rims before and they were aftermarket and i knew what to do based on manufacturers reccomendations. i guess i could ask the dealer but i havent been back since i bought it.

any suggestions. im afraid of ruining them.

Yeah, they are clear coated. Otherwise they would have been dull and spotted after the first rain storm.

Treat them like you would the paint on your car. Absolutely NO abrasives!! Maybe try a coat of wax? How bad are they really? Worst case (if they truly are damaged) you would have to strip the clear and polish then re-clear (or continually polish)...
