It will have to be upwards of $70K if they plan on selling it in the US.

The 2006 SC430 makes 288HP and costs $65,355. You know damn well they will make more power with the Supra.

It's actually a good thing because it will price the car out of reach of the idiotic ricer crowd. :nice:

They said 50K for the V8 coupe. Good performance but 50K is alot of dough imo. At 50K its gonna be hard to compete with a 30K 350Z even with 150 extra hp. It would definatly be a vette alternative but imo it wont effect the 350 much.

is that 5.0 v8 in the supra n/a or f/i because if its n/a then it is a very nice engine.

I too heard that the 07 Toyota Supra will probably be released
sometime next year.I think the new look of the Supra is tastefull
and looks very unique.I know it will be out of the reach in price
range from alot of people witch is a good thing. If they came out
with a turbocharged version or actualy have a decent aftermarket
for these cars I might consider one.Subaru is thinking about turning
the STI into a hatchback witch is fugly and horrible looking. :nonono:

Has some potential. Probably cost an arm and a leg though.

Looks like a solstice getting an eclipse from behind.

Have respect for "serious" import sports cars though. Supra's and NSX's are da bomb.

for the price of one of those, you could build two stangs and murder that thing all day long.

Mustang: still the best bang for your import killn' buck!

They will sell 40/yr in the US. People who buy Toyotas don't want a car like that.

    2 reasons

1 - Cost, the mustang cobra cost what 35K while the supra is 50K
2 - Ford cant build an n/a engine that is worth a ****.

    not quite here

it's all about money. the 03/04 Cobras were about $35k sticker and the Supra will be $50k. Ford's Cammer 5.0L makes 425hp for $15,000 if you want it.
