OK I've read that moving up to a 18x9 inch wheel (from the stock 17x8) will increase rotational mass even if the two wheels weigh the same. The wheels and tires I'm looking at weigh about 5lbs more per wheel and tire than stock. Will I really feel this much with daily driving? I have a 06 gt coupe. I don't race but I don't like the thought of losing power either.

You will notice it. My Razors with Rubber weighed 3 pounds more than the Stock 18 inch bullets and it made a big difference. The 3 pounds combined with the increased rotational diameter of the 20 inch wheel was quite noticeable.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
