1989 2.3 mustang

    My mustang turn signals are not working but the hazard lights are working but not hazard flasher in the fuse panel

    be more specific, you dont have blinker lights on your cluster? Or your turn signals dont work at all totally?

    There is another seperate flasher for the turn signals. It is located under the dash, somewhere not too far from the fuse panel. It has only 2 wires going to it and just hangs inside the dash area, not really attached to anything. Replacing that flasher should solve your problem.

    Turn on your hazards, walk around the car, and make sure you have no burned out bulbs, first off.

    I just fixed the same thing on my 93. It was just the flasher unit total cost $3.37 and 5 minutes. It was under the dash next to the console.

    on my 5.O its a big metal circle that just plugs in,shouldnt be hard to find at all.

    I second the burned out bulb, Red_Lx recommended. Just make sure the new bulb is in tight so it doesn't fall out inside the light fixture. Ask me where I keep my spare turn signal bulb!
