I'm looking at buying a 99 cobra with 89k miles, black on black, in good condition. What are these selling for usually? I'm trying to get it for $7,000. Is that a good deal?

    Thanks

If the car has a clean title and is in good overall shape, I would say that your price is right. I just picked up my 99 for $7,600 with the same miles, so your definitely in the ball park.

that sounds fair. I was looking at a 99 vert the owner was willing to go down to 8K, it had 84K on it.

    1999 cobra

what about a 99 cobra with 124,000 miles and it is in mint condition, it looks like it has about 30,000 on it , i offered 6500 but the guy will not go less than 6750.00

Its all preference and if you want to be "that guy" then take it to a mechanic before you make your decision. Does he have records of frequent oil changes? If so and it appears to not have been raced the miles really arent that high and I would say go for it. The delta between what you were going to buy the other one for and this one gives you some play money for parts :)

After re-reading if one with 40k less is only $250 more I say go for that.

Sounds good to me. You may want to check if it's had "the fix".
