Is the 2.0 Ztec an interferance engine? My sister's timing belt is about to go and i have no time to fix it, I am wondering if she will be safe to drive it for a few days til she can take it in.

If you can't find the answer go to focusfanatics.com or focaljet.com and ask someone they will be able to help you.

No. That's in no shape to be running. I believe the Zetecs are a little closer on valve to piston clearance than the trusty old Lima style motors. If that skips time, or the belt breaks, you can probably kiss the whole motor goodbye.

I just talked to a friend that is very into escorts and he says that i could deck the head and still not have problems. I got a quote for $296.16 to have it replaced, does that sound like a good deal. I have never had to replace one before.
