2.3 trubo

    hey guys i have an 88 mustang 2.3 5speed i have the complete engine out of an 88 trubo coupe , ecm wire harness what else would ineed to complete the swap???? :bang: : :shrug:

    downpipe...that's about it really. Do you have the VAM? Sounds to me like you're pretty much set.

    leave out the wiring harness and just do a pin change (3 wires) using your stock 2.3 harness.

    Did you pick up the turbocoupe (if it was a 5 speed) flywheel/clutch/pressure plate? Id recomend it, i had to change to the turbocoupe setup (bigger than n/a) becuase my na clutch started slipping under load.

    on your back in the drivway about 4hrs. in a shop on a hoist with the right tools about 45min to an 1.5hrs

    You need to upgrade the fuel pump to handle the larger injectors.

    All the stock fuel pumps are the same. Upgrading to a bigger one is recomended though.
