There was a 2.3 HO in the Tempo, but of course that's a different engine family. Ihad one and it did have more power than a standard 2.3 Tempo..... if you can call them powerful!!! :rlaugh:

Quick question. If I bought a 2.3 in Windsor, could I bolt on the head I got from a guy in Cleveland? I've heard a bunch of stuff about not being able to use some of the Cleveland stuff on Windsor motors.  :canada:

Ok, not gonna pick on you anymore. I just realized you were new here.

Anyways, As far as I know (and I could be wrong), there wasnt a 2.3 HO. But the 91-93 2.3l stang engines had 105 horses due to I think a roller cam. the ones pre 91 had only 88 horses. So if you wanna look at it that way, the 91-93's had a "higher output" than the pre 91's. But I still wouldnt call it a HO

As far as turbo HO's, I think what i said above should answer that.

There is no 2.3 HO that came in the stang. The HO you are thinking of came out of the taurus line and is a completely diff block. I am sure someone has turboed it though.
