Hi, I currently own a 1986 2.3L LX. Ive had the car for about a year and its been great. Lately though i have ran into a new problem. My temp, fuel, and oil pressure gauges are always reading incorrectly. I know where they are supposed to be because everyonce in awhile i will see them jump to a normal reading then slowly go back down to almost nothing. My fuel will be off by atleast a quarter tank, the temp will read cold even if im doing 120 Km/h on the highway for an hour in the summer, and my oil pressure gauge will read low also. Like i said every once in awhile they will go to where they are supposed to be but then return back to low and unormal.

Any help and suggestions will be appreciated.

Hey I just picked up a 89 Lx and it did the same thing (my tach would go the wrong way). I had to go to a junkyard and get a new instrument cluster and put it in. If you end up doing the same thing look around at a couple diffrent junkyards the prices really vary. Hope you find the problem. Good luck.
