First off, i am looking to buy a saleen supercharger from someone who took it off of a 2002 saleen. First off, is this the series IV blower? Lastly, he said that the pully that it comes with is about 12 psi. About how much power will the car make to the wheels. Is 12 psi on the saleen blower safe, because i know that that is pushing it with the vortecs and kb and such. Your help is much appreciated. THanks. :SNSign:

perfectly safe thats what about i run with mine its all in the tune. I would recommend a 90mm lightning maf factory one will peg, focus pump and lightning 42's and a custom tune. I tune these cars mine ran 11.9 at `116mph with stock exhaust. dont let anyone tell you these blowers are no good. Oh get chicanes intercooler as well if you can it works awsome. It will lower your ic temps which is the most important thing.

The 2002 Saleens came with a Series II blower. Those are the roots-type blowers. The 2003 and 2004 Saleens came with the Series IV twin-screw blowers.

I am running 12.8 lbs of boost on my Series IV and making the numbers in my signature. Is it safe? Maybe. I don't feel comfortable running that much boost, but if my motor goes I really don't care. You will want a good tune. I'm running about 11.5 A/F and never going higher than 11.8.
