Guys , i just found a 2003 cobra for sale.well actually a friend is selling it.
the car has about 15K on it.no extra mods on it, besides pullys , so its pushing 12lbs of boost as he claims. He blew his engine last month , and took it to FORD and replaced the crank shaft i think. Anyways , the car is runing great again. He's asking for $29.000 . so do you guys think its worth it? or is it too much?

    thank you

ehh ive seen em go for 22-24 look in the midwest classifieds there's 2 in there for way less than that, also he blew the engine??? never heard of that one yet, lot of t56 problems @ my dealer..

personally when i buy one it will be mod less, its always better to do it right the first time than it is to back track someone elses problems

he blew his engine , because he upgraded his pullys to get 12lbs of boost as i mentioned before , with Factory tune. so he ran lean.so your saying i shouldnt buy it right?

ehh it sounds like alot of money for an 03' w/a known engine problem...

 its up to you i wouldn't personally, but if you need to have that one and it puts a smile on your face then its worth it.

I've seen 04's go for 27K with very few miles, no mods, and a clean bill of health.

Too much for a car w/a major engine repair.

I would pay no more than $24k for that one...especially with some engine repair...

Ohio '03 are going for $22k w/less than 30k miles and '04 $24k. I looked at them both for myself and still think the price is high since I can not talk to the owner since they are both at a dealer.
