my buddy just bought a 2003 Mach 1 about 2 months ago, and he doesnt have internet access at his house right now until DSL is available...

anyway, he wanted me to check around on the net today and find out about exhaust. I dont know much about the Mach 1s, but I know if they are anything like my Lightning... Bassani and Magnaflow seem to be the best bet.

can someone point me in the right direction to a website that pretty much specailizes in Mach 1 parts... exhaust, suspension, etc

    thanks guys...

    btw, FORD ROCKS!!!!

If it's quality he's concerned with...Magnaflow, SLP, Bassani, Borla all have good reps about quality. It all comes down to what kind of sound he wants though.

I love the Borla catback I have on my car....I wanted to keep the rolled tips so I went with the borla setup...

Here is a short clip of the borla on my mach (stock headers and H-pipe)

I like the setup I have. I have 2 chamber flows welded up to the stock cat back with 3 1/2 inch tips. IMO it sounds really good for having the stock H. You don't really gain much HP from a cat-back, plus it saved me about $150. The prochamber is going to go on as soon as I get the Diablo Pred. I love the sound of the prochamber and the flows.

I have a UPR-x and magnaflow weld in mufflers. About 300 all together. My best with this set-up is 12.916 @ 108.63 and dynoed 296.8 rwhp and 320.1 tq. It don't sound the best but it is makeing good power.

I have a full exhaust that'll be in tomorrow or Wednesday. A set of BBK Long Tube Ceramic-coated Headers & a BBK Shorty Catted X-pipe that will be linked to the stock Cat-back w/ welded in Flowmaster 40-series 2 Chambers no later than Saturday. The Flowmasters are already on. I had them installed the day I drove my car off the lot.
