By the sound of the new SRT-8 cars, they will be a handful for stock naturally aspirated Mustangs. Motor Trend supposedly just tested the new 300 SRT and it ran 13.2 @ 108 mph...with the autostick. Plus, the 300 SRT-8 is said to have a base MSRP price of just under $40,000. That means the SRT Magnum and SRT Charger will be cheaper and even a bit quicker.

It is a shame those cars (300 and Magnum) are such cr*p and Chrysler is such a half baked car company.

My freind has a Hemi Magnum bought in June. So far......

1 Two gas tanks replaced
2 Entire dash and harness replaced with a 3 week wait due to no parts at dealers yet.
3 Trans leak
4 Vacuum leak
5 He just had a flat last week and the Michelins are not even on the market yet. They had to rob one from a car on the lot.

I really love the Magnum but Chrysler still does not have it's sh****t together.

Also, he put a Magnaflow cat back, sounds great until the 4 cylinders drop out at cruise then it droans and sounds like cr*p.

Sure there's always going to be a lemon now and again. My Dodge has caused me zero problems since I've had it. Yet, Ford apparently has been having quite a bit problems with the new F-150s so they all have problems getting some kinks ironed out of some vehicles. Ford has also had problems with the new Five-Hundreds and Montegos.
FWIW, the SRT Hemis don't have cylinder deactivation. Its got full 8 cylinders all the time.

yeah thats called a Lemon! Each car company has em. Even Japanese.
Other than that i havent heard much problems with the 300's. I like those cars alot too. But still a mustang enthusiast.
The Ram SRT-10 would win, I'm sorry to say. MT got theres at 4.8sec 0-60 times and a 13.2 1/4mile time. WHOA!!
