Hey any of you guys try out a set of 18 in rims on the new style saleens...They don't make 20' drag radials and I was just thinking what it would look like...Any thoughts...

It will look like your car is a fake.

I think the 20's help fill out the larger fenderwells on the newer Saleens. This pic isn't of a Saleen, but it has a set of 99-04 Saleen style 18" wheels just to give you a little idea...

In person, it just doesn't look right.

The Roushs & new GT500s have 18's. Looks really odd.

I think it will look fine as long as you have some drag slicks or something similar to fill the wheel wells.

    Something like this

Cool thanks guys...I only want something I can sport to the track this year...It would look kinda weird if I drove it there with 20s on the front and 18s on the back..

Just be careful that you retune your car if you change the diameter of your rear tire even by a half inch. It is the same as putting a smaller pulley on your car and you will detonate.

Personally, I think 19's with another 1/2 inch drop would look perfect. I think the 20 inch wheels are a bit too large and with the tire they weigh a ton.

If the car is lowered to a good height, 18's look fine. I think Roush and the Gt500 look strange because of the style of the wheel. Personally I don't think these pictures looks bad at all. That's a 18x11 Fiske.
