Just a question for everyone. My buddy ordered a 2009 GT months ago and it has arrived. Just wondered if anyone can tell me anything about the sequence of the serial number. It's arrived so early that they can't even tell him the financing rates yet. I think he must have had one of the very first GT's for '09 off the line.

the last 6 digits are: 103044

Can't tell him the finance rates? Finance through your own bank. You don't buy brand new '09s right now at incentivised rates anyhow.

Yea. That doesn't make sense. I can get some financing rates in about 10 seconds.

Look into credit union rates first. A local credit union financed my '08 GT at 4.25% when the best my bank could do was 5.89%.

Credit unions are subject to fewer regulations and benefit from special legal provisions unavailable to banks.

A credit union is the way to go. If you have an account there and a great credit rating you should get a loan in the 4% range.
