Greatings Guys and Gals .... Please bear with me if this is a old topic as this is my first time on this site. I am putting a 3.8 in a 1929 Ford Model A Tudor. I need help finding someone (hopfully in Northern Ca.) that can reprogram my 2000 Mustang ECM. The 3.8 has the automatic transmission that it came with and I am running a Ford 9" rearend with 3.10 ratio. I can hold my own in the mechanical and simple wiring part of this project but when it comes to the computer I am in way over my head. I put a 4.6 in a older truck and got a kit to do the computer change over (from the Detail Zone..nice unit easy to install) but I cant find anything for the 3.8. I want to get rid of some of the safetys (air bags) and some of the smog related sensors and ????
Have any of you folks done this ?? or know of a shop that will do it ??

    Thank You Roger G

Your best bet is to have a shop tune it, or call Superchips or Diablo and then can probably mail you out a chip with all the specs. If you are really wanting the help I suggest getting in contact with the guys at http://www.supersixmotorsports.com/ or post over at www.v6power.net
