3 valve swap

I'm looking for info on a 3 valve 4.6 engine swap into a 2002 GT vert. Any tips or considerations would be appreciated.

Logan motorsports makes a kit that allows you to do the swap. You need the 3v throttle body and intake along with the heads and intake manifold. Adjustable cam gears are needed to disable the 3v variable valve timing. The biggest problem is that you will have piston to valve issues on a stock bottom end, so notched pistons are needed.

well close, but you can use stock 2v cam gears and the Logan kit comes with a t/b adapter. The cc of the heads are the same as a DOHC engine. As long as you dont install big cams in you should be fine. The final thing you need is a custom tune. This has been done b/f with a stock 03 gt block.
