Few of us went to the track today. My friend ran his 93 Notch with the new found power it has been making on blower, then made a bottle pass too. It went a [email protected] on blower only, the best before was 6.34@109. It had run a [email protected] on a 150 shot in some bad weather with some really messed up heads and a pretty bad 60 ft. So after the 6.18 pass he tried to make a bottle pass but it got out of the groove hard, datalogging showed he was off of it for AWHILE and he still ran a 5.96@116 with a 1.30 60 ft. If it hadnt went all over it would have run pretty damn fast because the 60 ft is alotttt better than what it did when he ran the 5.91. I think the car can go 5.6's or faster if it doesnt blow the tires off at half track again.

Dart Block 347, Vortech T Trim @ 18 PSI, old school TFS Twisted Wedges Ported by Panhandle, hydraulic roller, Victor 5.0 Intake, DFI tuned by himself (Co-Owner of XXX Motorsports), PA C4 w/ Trans Brake, 3.73's, 28 Inch ET Drags, Mini Tubbed.

Some random guy with a 350Z I was talking to, Stillen Supercharger 8 PSI, Draglites on the rear with ET Drags, he also said it had some axles that would hold some big power. He was pretty cool, dunno what it ran today because they dont show times on the board at this track and I never went back over there and asked em what he ran. It sounded like an 03-04 Cobra going down the track.

I believe

What hood is that?

its a BOV, but its not vented to the atmosphere like a BOV, its recirculated like a bypass valve. is it a BOV? technically, yes. it functions like a bypass valve though.

edit: just watched the video. i guess it is vented to the atmosphere. my bad.

yup:d A bypass valve would be before the S/c, and when let open, let air BYPASS the s/c so it is not pushing forced air into a closed tb blade:eek:

****, i thought it was the other way around. busted!

actually, after a little wikipedia research, i was right. a recirculated BOV or bypass valve is after the compressor, and recirculates air to the intake before the compressor, after the MAF.

amazingly if it wasnt for the cage and welds with bigass slicks you would never know the kinda power that thig has, until of course he started it. thats awesome!

Last year it was on Saleen 18's most of the time, had a dvd player, 10's in the trunk and a 5 speed. It also didnt get the cage until recently. It sounds pretty wild at idle.
