Ok, so I got tired of my horrific looking 3rd brake light (crazy sun damage) and decided to refinish it. It took all of an hour, and looks almost new. Very happy with the results. Some 320 grit sandpaper, then 400, then 800, then 1500, then some meguairs plastic scratch remover. If you have been wingless for long enuff, then you will be in the same place soon as well.
