Would a 5.4 3v swap be worth it? power wise, only be spinning to 5800, just looking to upgrade for a nice *playing around* street motor. stock 2v isnt cutting it!

i will be building a custom intake, no truck intake here.

Or would it just be better off turbo. only looking to make around 325 hp but lots of tq.

Any ways, my gt motor it just plain wore out, would like to start new ( motor swap and will be doing ported heads)

what does everybody think about this

i think by the time u spend all the money to do that u could have either a. did a 4v 4.6 swap, or b. forged the 2v and supercharged/turbo it

yes, Ive heard of head/cam 3v's close to 400rwhp. I just dont know if the 3v heads will flow enough for the 5.4. Im sure somebody might have an opinion on that.

If you looking for 325rwhp, Id just go 2v na if your going with a new motor. 325 is not hard with a high compression, NA 2v. Might not 30rwtq less or so, but nothing too much. But I dont know what kind of deal you have so thats hard to say. Good luck
