My Mach 1 doesnt have a spoiler, and i have found a recycler online that has one. However it is in three parts, and the pics arent very good. I have them on my FTP acount and link to the three parts on following message. Just wondering why its in three pieces, and how hard it is to install? Also is this spoiler worth 150? I will have to repaint it as well after i initially pay that much for it. Is this the full spoiler? Thanks alot for answering all the questions in advance.

Yes the factory spoiler is 3 pieces. Mustangs Unlimited sells them for over $300.

I thought the mach 1 spoiler had no endcaps, so therefore it should be only one piece. But is your looking for a cobra spoiler and it's not too badly beat up then $150 with endcaps isnt too bad.

I don't think very many non-cobra hatchbacks came with a factory rear spoiler (or front for that matter) unless ordered specifically with one. If they had one though, it's 3 pieces. One across the hatch, and two ends bolted to the quarters.

Those pictures in the links, btw, are all of the center section.

If I was you I would ask for a picture of the complete set-up before you buy. Those pictures are just showing up close pics of the scratches.

The Mach 1 package didn't include a spoiler. And the only factory option spoiler was the 3-piece.

Makes sense that it would be three pieces now thinking of the hatchback. I will email for a pic of the whole setup. However one more question, being its a Cobra spoiler it should still be the same size and everything right? I know i probably sound dumb, but im still learning about cars. I really am sorry, but i really appreciate the help. By the way, i didnt know if that was stock, but when i got the car it looks like they put in replacement bolts to where there used to be a spoiler. I have no idea why he would have taken it off though. Thank you very much for your help.

    Same size.

No need to appologize, that's what the forum is for.

Could have had a spoiler on before, particularly if the hatch panel was from a junk yard. If it did, installing another will be a lot easier.

I would also ask this seller if the spoiler has all the studs mounted on the back section. If they're broken you'll have to modify studs to mount the spoiler correctly. Not fun especially if you pay a high price for the piece.
It may be better to look for a complete spoiler that includes the end caps.

I'd still feel comfortable with only two of the four studs, as long as they are not on the same side. I've seen them with just the ends screwed down, but that's not too wise.
