I was wondering if anyone knows if a 2000 gt rear end will bolt up to a 2000 v6 mustang.I put a 351 in it and the old rear is not good.

It will bolt right up, you can even use the Cobra axle if you want to.

cobra irs axle swap into 2001 v6

i have a 2001 mustang v6. will a cobra irs axle bolt in directly? taking a quick glance at the irs, it doesnt seem like many of the components match up.

my other question is: if i get an 8.8 from a gt, can i put my original brakes from the 7.5 and bolt them on directly to the 8.8?

    thanks

    8.8 axle swap

if i swap my 7.5 for an 8.8 can i use the original driveshaft? if so, is there any danger of me installing it "out of phase" to the new rear end?
