87-89 steering wheel column install on a 91 questions???

    I am installing a new steering wheel on my 91 Mustang GT, but I have to install a 87-89 steering wheel column first. my question is, if I get the column and the column wiring harness will it be plug and play or will I have to splice and figure out what wires go where?

    Ok so I know that I need to install a 87-93 Mustang sterring wheel colomn, but does it matter if its a tilt or not? Also I wanted to know if all the wiring is the same as the 90-93 or if I need to change that to.
