    unless you relocate your radio to the spot where the ac controls are then the shifter will be in the way anytime the car is in park. Buy a head unit that has a input for somekind of removeable drive like a thumb drive/zip drive whatever people call them now, and fill that sucker full of music and never worry about scratched cd's again.
