Lets see...where to start. Well, up for sale is my 1989 notchback mustang. First things first, the body is not mint. This is a northern car with all sorts of dings, dents and yes...even some rust. With that said, all of the drive-train has been updated. The engine was rebuilt in 2007. The engine mods include TFS track heat heads, 1.7RR's, F303 cam, 42lb injectors, 3g alternator upgrade, electric fan, Eddy Performer intake, B&G twin turbo headers along with twin .60/.48 turbos and a 12x24x3 intercooler. The car has a megasquirt stand-alone ECU which controls the entire engine management (Electric Fan, 2-step, Rev-limiters, fueling, spark map, target AFR tables etc.). You will also notice there is no distributor. The current setup is using ls2/truck coils (very hot C.O.P. setup) fired in wasted spark with megasquirt. There also is a lc-1 wideband controller along with xd-16 gauge, autometer coolant and vacuum gauges and a fuel pressure transducer which is read through megasquirt.

The transmission is an upgraded 4r70w controlled with a baumannator TCS trans controller. The converter is a 2800rpm unit from dirty dog racing. The shifter is a hurst quarter stick.

The front suspension mods includes a full AJE tubular k-member/a-arms, front coil-overs, PBR 5-lug disc brakes, Maximum Motorsports caster/camber plates, 99+ mustang rack with bump steer kit.

The rear suspension includes 5-lug rear axles with 99 mustang disc brakes, UPR lCA's, FRPP UCA's, 3.27 gears and 8.8 girdle. Also included is a set of 15x8 weld rear wheels and 235 60 15 MT street radials (drag radials). The rear 96 cobra wheels are included...however they have BALD nitto dr's on them.

I'm sure I'm leaving off some other mods...but you get the jist of it.

I had the combination dynod back when I had a 3550 in it and it laid down 489rwhp and 527 rwtq @ 8psi of boost.

$6500...will consider trade for 96-98 cobra.

I also have access to a CLEAN 92/93 red notch roller (without the front clip/bumper, driveline and interior) for and extra $700.

Some more pics...

This first one is from a few years ago with a few less bump and bruises. It just goes to show how well the single stage paint polishes up! You can also better see the rear disc brakes along with the included cobra wheels.

Here is a pic of the gauges. I have since reverted to the stock bulbs in the cluster, but the blues are in the glovebox.
