    Sup folks,
I don't usually post, but I thought i'd share my initial mpg results with everyone in my new beater.

Driving 90% highway, I managed 373 miles on the tank with a little more needle above E to play with, but I was in the country and decided not to risk the long walk home.

Overall, its a great little car, with the exception of the fan taking a dump on me.

Now you can fill it up and divide the miles by the gallons and calculate your MPG...

When I was driving highway miles about 400 a week, I was getting 30 mpg. But haven't been solid highway in last 4 yrs, so averaging between 20-22 mpg in town. All depends on traffic and getting the frost off the windshield.

I saw 21 mpg with onlyusing the OD about 1/8th of the time. My OD is forked in mine so I forget to manually shift it into OD so i only do it above 55 on the freeway. I'm kinda impressed as I've been driving it pretty hard and not been using the OD. With the OD working i should see a 20% or so MPG increase. And this is with me using the Autostart every morning so it idles in the driveway for 10 minutes every morning to warm the beast up before I up in.

Ok..so what is the average speed you drive to achieve those numbers.

    I've never seen 30 mpg. I see about 22 - but then I drive often at 125-130 kmh (that's 75-80 mph)

The 23 mpg is my daughters driving 10 miles to school and back every day. The 25mpg tanks include a 120 mile interstate round trip to dance in addition to the school commute. From my riding with her, she does not let grass grow under the wheels.....

I have a Lightning and this is my daily driver. Switching between the two is really hard. To say I drive this car with 3/4 throttle all the time would be about right. My truck on the other hand I hardly have to get into.

before the accident I seen 24-28 mpg 20 miles back woods country highway @ 60 and 20 expressway @ 70 to work, the same on the way home. I would average 300 miles a tank and was happy. (Auto)
