Will a 5.0 out of a 92 be able to fit into a 74-78 chasis and how hard would the swap be to do?

Physically the same size as the II's 302. There are balance issues to be resolved if using the II flywheel, or bellhousing/trans/header issues if using the late stuff.

75-78 no problem as long as you get the proper motor mounts. 74 didn't come with a V8 so there are issues you need to deal with like radaitor clearance.
